California College Guidance Initiative

Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, LEUSD will be partnering with CCGI (California Colleges Guidance Initiative) to provide students with tools and information to prepare them for college. College, Career, and Interest Exploration

CA Career Zone is a free resource which offers individuals the chance to explore their interests, compare college majors and careers, and find information on specific colleges. 
There is no requirement to create an account, but users who create a free account can save any progress on assessments and searches which they complete.

The "Explore Industry Sectors" allows users to compare opportunities within various sectors, demonstrating different jobs within each category.

PSAT/SAT and Scholarship Information

Each year, 8th grade students at CLMS are offered the chance to take the PSAT. This opportunity allows students to gain experience with the information and style of the test for the future.

College Board Opportunity Scholarship

The US Department of Labor provides free career exploration, economy resources, and additional resources for helping parents and students plan for the teacher.
